Human testing for AI-built apps

You built it with AI.
Get a human to test it.

Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, Bolt, Replit: a real person walks through your app, finds what breaks and what confuses, and sends you a recorded session plus written findings before your first user does. You only pay if it is useful.

Why TestTorch

A real person you can trust, with proof to back it up.

A verified human, on the record.

Every tester passes screening and works under their own name and rating. You know who tested your app, and they're accountable for the work. No bots, no scraped reviews.

Payment held until you accept.

You pay per session, the money is held until you accept the work, and a dispute is decided on the evidence. Testers keep 80% of every session, so good testers stay.

Proof when you want it.

Add our one-line recorder snippet and every session also arrives with a full replay: watch exactly what the tester clicked, where they paused, where they got stuck.

Vetted testers, not bots

Every tester passes a structured screening: clear writing, careful observation, real follow-through. Borderline applications get a human review before anyone picks up a paid session. Real humans test your app; no bots, no scraped reviews.

How we vet testers

GDPR by design

Every input is masked in the browser before a recording ever leaves it, replays are access-controlled, and you can revoke access any time. Privacy isn't a policy page. It's how the recorder is built.

How it works

Two sides, same simple flow.

F

For founders

  1. 1

    Submit your app.

Drop in your URL and a scenario you want tested.

  2. 2

    Testers claim it.

Your job goes live on the tester board right away. Vetted testers claim open slots themselves, usually within a day or two, or you can invite specific testers directly from the tester directory.

  3. 3

    Get the replay + report.

Full session recording plus a written findings document.

T

For testers

  1. 1

    Apply once.

Quick screening so we know you can think and write.

  2. 2

    Pick sessions.

Browse open tests, take the ones that fit your hours.

  3. 3

    Test and get paid.

Submit your findings. Once the client accepts, your earnings land in your Stripe balance within a few days.

Pricing & earnings

Honest numbers on both sides.

What founders pay

€20–40 / session

You set the price. €29 is typical for a ~30-minute walkthrough.

  • One session with a vetted tester
  • Session recording (once you add our one-line snippet) + written findings report
  • You don't pay for work you don't accept. Dispute a session that falls short

What testers earn

€16–32 / session

You keep 80% of the session price. Most sessions pay in this range, depending on scope.

  • Released to your Stripe balance a few days after your work is accepted, then out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule
  • Choose your own hours and session types
  • Build a rating that gets you invited to higher-paying tests
  • You keep 80% of the session price and see your exact payout before you claim

You don't pay for work you don't accept.

  • Posting a job is free. You only pay once a tester claims a slot.
  • An unclaimed slot is never charged, however long the job stays open.
  • Not happy with a session? Dispute it. We review it, using the session recording as evidence when one was captured, and refund you in full if the dispute is upheld.

A dispute isn't us taking your word for it and moving on: an admin reviews the actual claim before any money moves, and either side can appeal that ruling once. It's slower than an instant refund button, because it's a real review, not a rubber stamp.

Frequently asked

Answers before you ask.

How are testers vetted?

Each tester completes a short screening session before they can pick up real tests. We look at clarity of writing, observational quality, and follow-through.

What kinds of apps can I test?

Web apps get the full experience: SaaS, marketing sites, onboarding flows. Our recorder is a one-line browser snippet, so once it's installed every session on a web app comes with a full replay. You can also post iOS and Android jobs; those run on written findings alone, since we don't have a native recorder yet.

Is the session replay safe for my IP?

Testers sign an NDA at onboarding. Replays are stored encrypted and only accessible to you and your team. You can revoke access any time.

When do testers get paid?

Your earnings are released to your Stripe balance a few days after the client accepts your work, then paid out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule. You connect your payout account once during onboarding.

Can I request a specific test scenario?

Yes. You write a short brief when you submit. Testers see it before they accept the session.

What if the test isn't useful?

Flag it during the review window and your payment for that session stays on hold. It becomes a dispute, and we rule on it using the replay as evidence. A session that falls short isn't charged.

Two ways to start.

Pick a side. Both kinds of accounts are free to create.
